For two months every summer the British Nation is gripped by Tennis Fever as the Worlds greatest tennis players come to England for the Aegon Championship (Formerly Stella Artois Championship) and Wimbledon Championship. Everyone dusts off those rackets and the coffee break chat is all about whether we’ll have a British Champion.

The 2008 Championships saw Spain’s Rafael Nadal defeat the five-time Champion Roger Federer in arguably the greatest final in Wimbledon history. 2010 saw Nadal retain that title after missing out on the 2009 event due to injury. Serena Williams went on to dominate the 2010 competition and win yet another major title.

Formerly known as the Stella Artois Championship, June 2009 will see the competition move into its 30th year at the Queens Club. This prestigious will be headed up by new sponsors in 2010 with AEGON taking over from Stella Artois.
The AEGON Championships once again hosts the top seeded players in the build up to Wimbledon with Andy Murray sure to be in the frame after a impressive finish to the 2010 season.
